We are committed to providing a well-structured path for ALL ages and abilities to experience yoga safely, enjoyably and effectively. Here’s how:
Which describes you best?

We recommend a free 20-minute PT Screen with Holli Morrison, DPT – whose office is conveniently located inside our studio. She will be able to give you guidance on how to proceed, whether that be adjustments to make during class, treatment, or to check with your doctor before proceeding.
We recommend a couple options:
1) Schedule a 30-min consultation with Alexis or Frank, where we can discuss your reasons for starting yoga and guide you through some simple movements to assess your current ability. From there, we can show you how to use props or modify poses to help you feel better and move more confidently in our group classes.
Call or text us at 910-263-6411 to set this up or try our appointment booking software through Mangomint:
2) If you would rather not meet 1-1, we recommend starting with one of our Level 1 classes, or a Yin class, which are both suitable for beginners and move at a slower pace. Our Level 1 class is easier than our All Levels and Level 2 classes, but aren’t necessarily “easy.” If it is your very first class, we highly recommend coming to class 15 minutes early to speak with your instructor, especially if you have any questions or concerns about class. We usually don’t have time to cover the finer details in class, so we value the 1-1 time we get with everyone who is interested in learning more!
🔹 Soul Foundations Level 1 (80°, 60 min) – Soul Foundations is designed for those new to yoga or anyone craving a slower, more intentional practice. We’ll gently break down Sun Salutations, explore the building blocks of alignment, and offer an occasional challenge to explore your potential. Build strength, awareness, and connection while moving through a basic sequence of essential poses.
🔹 Yin Yoga (75-80°, 60 min) – This class is mostly seated poses, with long holds and plenty of props to keep you relaxed….
3) If you are extremely stiff and find our level 1 classes and yin yoga challenging, we also offer assisted stretch sessions.
If you are active but new to yoga, Soul Foundations or Yin are great classes to start with, but you will also enjoy most of our other classes, especially if you are looking for a little more of a challenge and don’t want it to be “too easy.” :
🔹 Any All Levels Yoga (🌡️ 80–85°)
🔹 Pure Soul (75-min, unheated)
🔹 Handstands for All Levels
🔹 Elements of Movement (Unheated)
🔹 Bracing to Chaturanga (💪 Unheated, 30 min)
🔹 Hot Hips & Hamstrings or Chest & Shoulder Reset (🔥 90°, 30 min)
The only class we don’t recommend starting with are our Level 2 Flow Classes. Due to the speed of the class, you will want some familiarity with yoga poses and transitions before attending, or it will be difficult to keep up with the class.
We recommend :
🔹 Soul Flow Level 2 (🔥 95–100°, 60 min)
🔹 Flow Yoga Level 2 (❄️ Unheated, 60 min)
🔹 Slow Flow All Levels (75 min, Warm): If you spend a lot of times in faster vinyasa-style classes, notice the difference building strength makes through longer held postures
🔹 Pushups & Core (💪 Unheated, 30 min): Many seasoned practitioners still struggle with chaturanga – level up your practice and learn how to build strength effectively to make your flows more enjoyable
🔹 Handstands for All Levels
Go deeper with:
🔹 Yin Yoga (75-80°)
🔹 Slow Flow (🌡️ 80–85°, 60 min) – measured pace, strength-building
🔹 Soul Aware (Unheated, 90 min – alignment + holds)
🔹 Pure Soul (Unheated, 75 min – breathwork + meditation)
🔹 Yin Yoga
🔹 MFR + Yin Yoga
