Group Strength and Performance Classes: Soulful Strength Yoga + Ignite Fitness

Our group strength classes give you more than a workout.

We teach you how to set up, how to spot, what to look for, and why certain adjustments matter. You’ll learn from your own lifts, from coaching, and from watching the people training around you.

Over time, you begin to recognize good movement, understand what needs to change, and make better decisions on your own.

You won’t just learn what to do. You’ll learn how to move, what to look for, and why it works.

Class Descriptions

All Levels Weight Trainin

Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:00PM

Each 50-minute class follows a structured strength and conditioning format, beginning with movement preparation and a primary strength or skill focus such as squats, deadlifts, kettlebell swings, presses, carries, or introductory power exercises. From there, we’ll move into full-body work using barbells, dumbbells, machines, cables, and bodyweight exercises.

You’ll learn proper technique, how to choose appropriate weights, how hard to work, and how to use different training formats such as straight sets and supersets.

This class is built to deliver results over a long period, but is also designed to build a foundation for more advanced strength and performance classes. As your technique, confidence, and strength improve, you’ll be better prepared to take on heavier lifts, more complex movements, and more demanding training.

Great for All Levels – if you’re not sure, call/text Frank at 919-740-3460 or email frank@ignitefitnessapex.com and we can set up a free consultation to answer your questions and assess your current fitness level.

Soulful Strength Barbell Club: 5×5

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00pm, Sundays at 9:00am.

Soulful Strength Barbell Club is built around the 5×5, one of the most proven and straightforward methods for building strength.

Classes focus on the foundational barbell lifts: the squat, deadlift, bench press, overhead press, and barbell row. You’ll complete multiple sets of each movement with plenty of rest between sets, allowing you to practice good technique and gradually increase the weight over time.

This 90-minute class is appropriate for newer lifters who have completed our Barbell Foundations class, as well as experienced lifters who want a consistent, structured strength program.

Expect focused coaching, steady progress, and a supportive group environment.

Soulful Strength Sprint Club, with Kayla Foy

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00am

Led by former Division I sprinter Kayla Foy, Sprint Club helps athletes, runners, and active adults improve speed, power, coordination, and running efficiency. Each 50-minute outdoor session combines sprint mechanics, acceleration work, plyometrics, and conditioning in a structured, supportive environment.

Tuesdays focus on speed and technique, while Thursdays emphasize speed endurance and conditioning. Workouts can be adjusted for different experience levels, and every session includes a thorough warm-up with an emphasis on quality movement and appropriate recovery.
