We are thrilled to announce our grand opening in downtown Apex, in April 2025, located at 510 Upchurch St, Suite 102 (the new building down the street from Utica Bakery)!
At our studio, you’ll benefit from a truly exceptional movement foundation. In addition to teaching yoga since 2015, Alexis and Frank Lech (also owners of nearby Ignite Fitness) bring a combined 35 years of strength and conditioning expertise to the studio. This deep-rooted understanding of biomechanics and fitness ensures a uniquely informed approach to every yoga class, blending strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.

With 16 years of experience as a personal trainer and a lifelong passion for movement, Alexis brings a uniquely informed perspective to the yoga mat. She discovered yoga in 2015 and immediately recognized how profoundly it complimented her strength and endurance training, realizing it was the missing piece in her holistic approach to fitness.
Alexis completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Republic of Yoga with Nicole Nichols in 2017, followed by her 300-hour training at Wilmington Yoga Center with Heather Metzler and Jessica Bichler in 2022, solidifying her expertise as a movement specialist.
As Co-Owner of Soulful Strength Yoga, Alexis is dedicated to creating a welcoming and empowering space where students learn to move with knowledge, intention, and strength. Her extensive background allows her to seamlessly blend the principles of personal training, yoga, and functional movement, creating a dynamic and intelligent approach to practice. She believes in fostering a practice that is both challenging and accessible, encouraging growth by ensuring that every student feels seen and heard.
Recognizing that individual journeys are unique, Alexis is committed to addressing the specific movement needs of her members, whether it be poses her students find challenging or the intricacies of transitions.
